Tittle: Iron Ladies II
Year: 2003
Plot: After winning the national championship, the Iron Ladies rode a wave of love and success. But today finds the team in dire straits: a copycat team (they prefer to be referred to as "cover team"), "Tip-Top," has lured away star player Nong. Internal conflict has eroded the situation further (bizarrely, the terms "hippo" and "buffalo" are frequently-slung insults). So in hopes of reuniting, the remaining Iron Ladies make a mad dash to China, where lovely transsexual Pia is working as a cabaret singer. Can Pia be the glue that brings the Ladies back together for a return to victory? And what surprise guests await? Meanwhile, we flash back to the team members' respective pre-Iron Ladies days, revealing squealing queen Nong's comparatively butch youth and Pia's transformation from boy to gorgeous woman. Of course, the film wouldn't be complete without a grand game-playing finale in which the Ladies find themselves once again embraced by the public!
